THE GREAT CRUSADE
Taken on June 5, 1944, this is the iconic photo of Gen. Eisenhower visiting the 101st Airborne's 502nd PIR at RAF Greenham Common airfield before they embark for D-Day. This photo is hand-signed by 502nd PIR paratrooper Guy Whidden, who jumped on D-Day and was on the airfield during Ike’s visit!

INTO THE JAWS OF DEATH
Taken at 7:40 AM on D-Day, this photo shows soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division “Big Red One” as they come ashore at the Easy Red sector of Omaha Beach. This photo is hand-signed by 1st ID veteran Ray Lambert, a medic in the first wave at Omaha Beach who received the Silver Star for saving numerous lives on D-Day.

SEE YOU IN NORMANDY
Taken planeside on June 5, 1944, this photo shows the 101st Airborne's 3rd Bn., 506th PIR, at RAF Exeter airfield as they prepare for the flight to France. This photo is hand-signed by James "Pee Wee" Martin, a paratrooper of 3rd Bn., 506th who was on the same airfield when this was taken, suiting up to jump on D-Day.
