Valor Studios wishes to celebrate the memory of the following veterans who have died,
but not before gracing our company with their friendship and support. Their legacy will echo forever.
Dabney Montgomery died in September 2016. A Tuskegee Airmen crew chief, Dabney was a signer on "Return of the Red Tails."
Ed Tipper died in February 2017. A paratrooper of Easy Company, Ed was a signer on many of our 101st Airborne art prints.
Leo Gray died in September 2016. A Tuskegee Airmen P-51 pilot, Leo was a signer on "Return of the Red Tails."
Marty Goode died in Feb. 2016. A Navy pilot, Marty flew alongside Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown and was a signer on two of our prints.
Ed Bernat died in June 2016. A paratrooper of Easy Company, Ed was a signer on "Night of Nights," "Into the Night," and many of our 101st Airborne art prints.
Dr. Roscoe Brown died in July 2016. A Tuskegee Airmen P-51 pilot, Roscoe was a signer on "Return of the Red Tails."
Dick Fuller died in Dec. 2015. A B-17 gunner in the 379th BG, Dick signed several of our Franz Stigler/Charlie Brown tribute prints.
Bill Koenig died in 2015. A Navy pilot, Bill flew alongside Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown in VF-32. Bill was a signer on "Devotion."
"Duke" Boswell died in Nov. 2015. A four jump veteran of the 82nd Airborne, Duke signed many of our airborne prints.
Dan Lawler died in Sept. 2015. A Marine veteran of K/3/5, Dan's stories filled "Voices of the Pacific" and he was a signer on our Peleliu prints.
Dr. Sid Phillips died in Sept. 2015. A Marine veteran of H/2/1, Sid was the author of "You'll be Sor-ree!" and a signer on many of our prints.
Chris McEwan died in Oct. 2015. A veteran of the 101st Airborne, Chris signed many of our airborne prints.
Chuck Tatum died in June 2014. Chuck was a Marine on Iwo Jima, the author of "Red Blood, Black Sand" and a signer on our Iwo Jima Marine portrait print.
Chet Harrington died in July 2014. Chet was a four jump veteran of the 82nd Airborne and a signer on many of our airborne themed prints.
Ted Paluch died in August 2015. Ted was a survivor of the Malmedy Massacre and signer on our Battle of the Bulge prints.

Earl McClung died on Nov. 27, 2013. Read our special tribute here. Earl was a signer on nearly every ETO themed print we published.
Frank Perconte died on October 24, 2013. Read his obituary here. Frank was a paratrooper in Easy Company and signer on many of our prints.
Ray Skully died on Sept. 18, 2013. He was a paratrooper in G-Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne and a signer on "Angels from Above" and "Into the Night."

Ed Joint (left) and Joe Lesniewski both died within weeks of one another. Ed and Joe signed many of our E-Company prints, starting with "We Were a Band of Brothers" in 2003.

Joe Drago died on June 25, 2013. He was a gliderman in the 101st Airborne and a signer on "Angels from Above," "Breakout from Bastogne," and "Victory Salute."
Clancy Lyall Buck Compton

Buck Compton died on Feb. 25, 2012. Read our special tribute here. Buck was a signer on nearly every E-Company print we published.

Clancy Lyall died on March 19, 2012. Read his obituary here. Clancy was a paratrooper in Easy Company and signer on many of our prints.

Hank Zimmerman died in October 2011. He was a paratrooper in Easy Company and signer on "Hang Tough, Bastogne 1944."

Ken Espenes died in September 2011. Ken was part of the platoon that raised the first flag over Iwo Jima, and was a signer on "Iwo Jima, the First Flag" by Ron Stark.

Major Dick Winters died on Jan. 2, 2011. Read our special tribute here. Dick was a signer on "We Were a Band of Brothers," "Silencing the Guns," "Night of Nights," and "The Eagle's Nest."

Buck Taylor died in September 2011. He was a Sergeant with E-Company and a signer on many of our Band of Brothers themed prints.

"Red" Womack died on December 28, 2010. Red was a flamethrower operator depicted in The Pacific mini-series. Read our special tribute to Red here. Red was a signer on Matt Hall's "Off the Beach!"

Ed Mauser died on Jan. 21, 2011. Ed was the oldest living member of E-Company. Read our special tribute to Ed here. Ed was a signer on "Breakout from Bastogne," "In the Company of Heroes," and "Operation Pegasus."
Len Lomell died on March 1, 2011. Len was a member of the 2nd Ranger Bn. and scaled Pointe-du-Hoc on D-Day. He was a signer on "The Point." Read more about Len here.

Jack Foley died in September 2009. He was an officer with E-Company and a signer of "Hang Tough, Bastogne" & "The Eagle's Nest"

Forrest Guth died on August 09, 2009. Forrest was a star from "Band of Brothers" and another of our dearest veteran friends.

Shifty Powers died on June 17, 2009. Famed for his sharp shooting abilities, Shifty was a star from "Band of Brothers" and one of our dearest friends.

Richard Wheeler died on October 22, 2008. A veteran of the battle for Iwo Jima, he was a signer on "Iwo Jima, the First Flag."

Maxwell Clark of the Band of Brothers was a signer on "We Were a Band of Brothers"

Dick Rossi of the Flying Tigers, was a signer on all of our Flying Tigers art prints.
